Titanfall – March, 2014
Titanfall is expected to be most ground-breaking shooter game of 2014. Some have even mentioned that it will surpass the acclaimed Call of Duty, but we’ll have to wait until March to see exactly what the game is all about. Published by the acclaimed Electronic Arts, in Titanfall the players will be fighting online multi-player matches on a planet torn by war.
Titanfall makes uses the services of cloud computing from Microsoft in order to delegate non-player activity to the servers and optimize a home computer for the most pioneering graphical performance.
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Although we don’t have an official release date for The New Order, there’s no doubt that a lot of savvy gamers cannot wait to see it in motion. The first-person shooter game was published by Bethesda Softworks and it will be the 9th installment from the series. Featuring an alternative reality, The New Order is picturing the Nazis developing A-bombs ahead of the US; the intriguing action of the game happens in London, in the 60s and the vintage mix together with the Nazi sci-fi twist will certainly manage to draw some attention.

Dying Light
Dying Light is a survivor horror game that is expected to be released somewhere in the second quarter of 2014. Featuring a zombie-apocalypse theme and similar to Dead Island (also developed by Techland), Dying Light features a really dynamic day-night cycle that will certainly entice gamers. Throughout the day, the player will have to traverse a liberal urban environment infested by vicious outbreaks; be ready to save random survivors, set up traps, and make your way to the airdrops. The gameplay is quite engaging thanks to the brutal killings and free-run climbings on buildings, so Dying Light has plenty of chances to become a favorite this 2014.
Destiny
Developed by Bungie (the same guys who created the famous Halo franchise), Destiny is an ultramodern shooter game that features a combo of extraterrestrial magic powers and high-tech machines. Although it will be released on September 9, 2014, the makers are promising it will be worth the wait. It will feature a single and a multi-player game mode, and what’s really exciting is that the developers didn’t plan some of the events that will happen in the game. That makes the game extremely dynamic, and at the same time quite revolutionary.
Tom Clancy’s the Division
[post_ads_2]Tom Clancy’s The Division will be released on the 4th quarter of 2014, and although we might have to wait a bit longer, Ubisoft Massive claims it will exceed our expectations. There’s a 7 minute demo of the gameplay available from which we can tell that the action takes place in a post-apocalyptic New York City. Inspired from Directive 51 and Operation Dark Winter, The Division’s plot happens on Black Friday in the US; a disease makes the country collapse, and it’s up to the SHD (Strategic Homeland Division) to save the survivors. Pretty exciting indeed!
In terms of shooter video games, 2014 will be world-shattering, or at least that’s what we’re hoping for. So many games are waiting to be released, and increasingly more gamers are impatiently waiting to try them out. Are you up for the challenge?
